Marzipan in the form of fruits.

In the 14th century, when there was no more bread available but only almonds and sugar, people would make marzipan out of that, formed into fruits, and this way the poorer ones had something to eat as well. Nowadays in Switzerland, this tradition of formed marzipan fruits is only maintained by Paolo Caredda.

He produces beautiful edible decorations for your dining table. Nice to look at and delicious at the same time.
